1. Your daily starting point — Contacts
Top menu → Contacts → People tab
- Columns: Assigned to, Status, Activity, Last active, Next task, Playbook, Deal chip.
- Left stripe = urgency. Click a name to open; click headers to sort.
- Deal column shows name + stage + $ — click to jump to the deal.
2. Search — text, presets, and AI
Works on Contacts, Deals, and most list screens
- Type name, company, city, phone, or email — results narrow as you type.
- Press / for presets (“my contacts”, “needs follow-up”).
- Purple AI badge for natural-language search. Shift+? for shortcuts.
3. Sort, filter, and View Settings
Shrink a big list to “my work today”
- View Settings (sliders) → ASSIGNMENT → Mine for your leads only.
- Quick filters: Starred, Needs action, Has deal, New lead. Save combos as views.
- Funnel icon: assignee, status, tags, tasks, deals. Clear All resets.
4. Contact overview
Everything about one person on one screen
- Summary cards: tasks, deals, quotes, communication.
- Playbook checklist — Express Signs sales steps on the contact.
- WHO block + Notes & Activity timeline on the right.
5. Logging a call or note
Updates Last active and the team timeline
- Notes & Activity → Note, Call, Email, Text, or Voice.
- Capture quote requests, callback dates, who you spoke with.
- Save Note or Cmd/Ctrl+Enter.
6. Editing contact info
Reassign, update phone, tags, company
- Yellow Edit on the left rail or header.
- Update WHO fields — assigned to, phone, company, tags.
- Green Save or red Cancel.
7. Open the deal detail page
Three paths — pick what matches the moment
- Contact → Deals → Open deal (most common after a call).
- Click the deal chip on the Contacts list.
- Top menu Deals → click a Kanban or list card.
8. Edit deal details and amount
Details tab — type, brief, stage, $, close date
- Deal Details card → Edit → type, fulfillment, brief, owner → Save.
- Stage & Numbers → Edit → stage, amount, est. close → Save.
- After quoting: move to Quoted, enter amount, set close date.
9. The Deals board (pipeline)
Kanban by stage — drag cards to update
- Top menu → Deals. Toggle Kanban or List.
- Drag between columns to change stage.
- Header shows pipeline $, weighted forecast, open deal count.
10. Quick Add — new lead in one step
Lightning bolt on the Contacts toolbar
- Full name + email or phone (at least one).
- Assign to Mike or Ann; optional company/address.
- On save: optional create deal, email, follow-up task → Save.
